Delete your VocalBox account
VocalBox is operated by VocalBox Ventures in association with Lovestyle Africa Development Initiative. You can request that your account and its associated data be permanently deleted below.
How to request deletion
- Enter the email address used to create your VocalBox account.
- Optionally add your username and a reason for leaving.
- Click Submit Deletion Request.
- We will verify your identity, delete your account, and confirm by email within 30 days.

What data is deleted and what is kept
Data that is deleted
- Your account details (name, email, username, password, phone number, date of birth).
- Profile information (bio, avatar, interests, tags, occupation, location).
- Your posts, comments, polls, messages, and other content you created.
- Your connections, endorsements, votes, reactions, and notifications.
- Your vault (credit) balance and transaction history.
- Course enrollments, quiz attempts, orders, and event registrations.
- Your device, IP address, and login history records.
Data that may be retained
- Financial and transaction records required by law, retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Anonymised or aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you.
- Security logs and abuse-prevention records retained for up to 12 months.
- Records of your deletion request itself, retained for up to 12 months to demonstrate compliance.
